Rev Kate Dean, Minister: ‘I found a vibrant and welcoming spiritual community at Rosslyn Hill Chapel and I am passionate about helping others do the same.’ – Rev Kate Dean.
Rev Kate Dean is our new settled Minister, having concluded her ministry with Lewisham Unitarians. She conducts Sunday services and facilitates activities including the Living with Integrity monthly discussion group and Soul Deep spiritual development programme. She is available to chapel members for pastoral support.
From a spiritual but non-religious upbringing in the West Country, Kate discovered Unitarianism at Rosslyn Hill Chapel eight years ago. She has worked as a product designer and in the youth charity sector before beginning ministry training at Oxford and an MA in Abrahamic Religions in London. On completion, she took up a part-time ministry role with Lewisham Unitarians. Kate also worked as Volunteer Manager at SimpleGifts Unitarian Centre for Social Action in Bethnal Green. She is looking forward to helping the community at Rosslyn Hill Chapel grow and thrive.
Retirement of Rev O’Neill: After four years as minister at Rosslyn Hill Chapel, Rev Patrick O’Neill retired and in November 2015 he and his wife, Patricia Williams, left Hampstead, to return to the States and set up home in Seattle.
