Message from the Management Board
Our minister, the Rev. Patrick O’Neill has now retired. We have many wonderful guest preachers to take the services over the next couple of months and hope to have a temporary minister in place to lead all services in the New Year. Meanwhile, we have elected an excellent search committee to seek a new settled minister. We hope to have someone in place in six months to a year’s time.
Have you visited the Chapel website lately?
There you’ll find Kerry Reid’s and Jane Crispin’s speeches, plus photos from the Farewell party and from Patrick’s last Sunday morning service at the Chapel. (here )
Christmas treats from Simple Gifts
If you’re looking for some stocking fillers, please visit the Simple Gifts table after the service on 13th December, where Leighton Cole will be selling homemade chutney (by Ann Howell) hand-knitted Christmas decorations (by Kate Dean) and sparkly stars made by the children and volunteers at Simple Gifts’ after School Club. All funds will go towards the work of Simple Gifts: Unitarians Centre for Social Action in Bethnal Green.
