Grenfell Tower fire donations and fund
Rev Sarah Tinker of Kensington Unitarians has advised us of a local charity which has set up a fund for those affected by the terrible fire at Grenfell Tower. She states: “The general advice seems to be to hold back on making donations of items because they now need more volunteers to deal with the mountains of things that have been given. But money is going to be needed in both the short and long term to help those with disrupted lives.”

This is one of the main collections, recommended by the local council and interfaith group:

The Kensington and Chelsea Foundation has set up a fundraising page for cash donations. To donate please visit the website and when you have indicated the amount you wish to donate, tick the box Grenfell Tower Appeal. Every penny raised will go to those affected.https://thekandcfoundation.com/donate/

Good Cause of the Month
Our Sunday collection basket will be divided with ‘Sante Refugee Mental Health Access Project’ (http://www.santeproject.org.uk)
