Sunday 22nd March (11am)

Rev Dr Patrick T. O’Neill preaching

‘The Recipe: Wonder, Revere, Think, Live’

The great Jewish theologian Abraham Heschel once wrote that we are driven by an awareness that we are asked to wonder, to revere, to think, and to live in a way compatible with the grandeur and mystery of life.  Sounds like a good recipe for a fulfilling life.  Come join us this Sunday for thoughtful worship.

Sunday 22nd March (7pm)

‘Celebration of the Spring Equinox’
A contemplative service led by the Wheel of the Year Group

Ostara, also called the Spring Equinox or Vernal Equinox, celebrates the arrival of spring. Ostara marks the day when night and day are equal and balanced, hence the term equinox, which means ‘equal night’.  This is a time to rejoice, dance, and celebrate.

Children’s Programme – This week is a special children’s chapel session to mark the Vernal Equinox.  We will be learning about the myth of Persephone and Demeter to welcome Spring.

Flowers Dedicated this Sunday – The flowers this morning are in loving memory of my beloved Harold who died on 2nd February, 2013, his 81st birthday.  March 24th would have been our Silver Wedding anniversary.  Your loving Deborah.

During March our Sunday collection basket will be divided with

‘Donkey Drawn Library’ – a project of Good Gifts.
