It’s Mother’s Day and we celebrate the act of nurturing and care, which supports the vulnerable and the fragile to gain strength and knowledge.

Live Music and Meditation
Join us for uplifting live piano music from John Evans and different forms of relaxing meditation with Rev Kate Dean – guided meditation, walking meditation, chanting and body prayer.

No Pot Luck Lunch
Please note: there is no ‘pot luck lunch’ this Sunday – people should be outreaching to their mothers instead!

Decorating the Chapel for Easter and all Spring festivals
The Flower Group are decorating the Chapel on Thursday 13th April from 2.00-4.30pm. Your help would be welcome, no expertise required. Contact Janna j.williams16@virginmedia.com

Chapel Book Group – meets on Monday 27th March at 7.00pm in the Chapel Committee. We’ll discuss our current reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.

Sunday 7th May Tagore service with guest musicians
The morning service will celebrate the birth of Rabindranath Tagore, focusing on his Nobel Prize-winning poem Gitanjali which will be performed by the choir and musicians from the Brahmo Samaj liberal Hindu group. If it is good weather, we plan to walk to the Vale of Health, where a blue plaque marks the house where he stayed.

Sunday 4th June Anniversary Service at 6.30pm (note: special time)
Our annual Anniversary Service is held on the nearest Sunday to 5th June, the date of the first service in our current chapel building in 1862. We will honour our charity partners with a short service followed by a Wine Reception and an opportunity to make new connections!
