Services Next Sunday:
Sunday 4th September (11am)
Guest Preacher Ingrid Tavkar
‘Gathering of the Waters’
This service, sometimes also called the ‘Water Ceremony’, was first used at a Unitarian Universalist congregation in the 1980s. Members bring to Sunday worship service a small amount of water from places that are special to them. During the service, people one by one pour their water together into a large bowl. The combined water is symbolic of our shared Unitarian faith coming from many different sources.
Sunday 4th September (7pm)
‘Reflections on Water’
Reflecting on the significance of water – a scarce resource threatened and denied to millions around the world. Led by Ingrid Tavkar.
