Guest Preacher Jeannene Powell: ‘What Soil Are You In?’

As we get into the swing of the New Year, with resolutions and alike, its, a perfect opportunity to reflect on our own environment, to see how it can best support our own growth for the year ahead.

  

Pot Luck Lunch after morning service in the side aisle

This is an informal, friendly occasions – all are welcome and the request is to bring some food to share or make a financial contribution (£3.00 minimum).  We look forward to seeing you there.

 

Service at 7pm: Celebration of ‘Imbolc’ (also known as Candlemas)

This is one of the eight Celtic holy days of the year.  It is dedicated to the Goddess Brigid and celebrates midwinter with fire, water and ritual.  Come and celebrate Imbolc with music, song, poetry, and meditative silence.

Led by our ‘Wheel of the Year’ Group

 

 Children’s Programme – meets every Sunday at the 11.00am service.  New children of all ages are always welcome.  Infants are welcome in the crèche.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMME meets every Sunday at the 11.00am service. New children of all ages are always welcome. Infants are welcome in the crèche.

 

TAI CHI CLASS on Wednesday 1st February, at 5.45pm, in the Chapel.

 

CHAPEL CHOIR rehearsals on Wednesday 1st February, at 7.30pm in the Chapel. New voices are always welcomed into the choir. No audition necessary.

‘Soul Deep’ – spiritual development and discussions for the new year – Rev Kate Dean will be leading a series of six Tuesday-night sessions focusing on a different aspect of spiritual life each week. We aim to go deeper and examine the inner faith that finds an outward expression in the way we live our lives.
