At the mid-point of Fair Trade fortnight, and as we gather for
our Annual General Meeting of chapel members, we will consider what it takes to create a fairer world. Our families, our communities and nations have a better chance of thriving when we treat each other with fairness and respect.

Sunday 5th March (7.00pm)
Rev Kate Dean – ‘Reflections on a Fairer World’
In this contemplative service, there will be time to reflect on our inner perspective of fairness and to share our thoughts on the theme in a safe and welcoming circle.

REMINDER Sunday 5th March – Chapel Annual General Meeting (AGM) AGM
Chapel members should download the pack from the website – here is the link:http://rosslynhillchapel.org.uk/events/annual-general-meeting/  The pack contains reports from the committees, groups, minister and Chair of the Management Board. We encourage you to read these before the AGM, the relevant members will be available to answer any queries at the meeting. Note: please help us by printing your own copies, or bring them on electronic devices. Only a very few paper copies will be available on the day! Lunch and Childcare provided.

Fairtrade fortnight – Fairtrade sale on 12th March
This Monday marks the start of Fair Trade fortnight. We encourage you to learn more about this initiative through their website: http://www.fairtrade.org.uk/en/get-involved/current-campaigns/fairtrade-fortnight We hope to have a Fair Trade table sale on 12th March, which is also International Women’s Day when the choir will sing, so look out for that and pick up some fairly traded goodies!

Rosslyn Hill Chapel Choir – rehearses each Wednesday at 7.30pm. New voices welcome, no audition required!

Chapel Poetry Group – This inspiring group meets to share favourite and original poetry. For more information, please contact George Appleby: gappleby@talktalk.net.

Living with Integrity’ discussion group meets on Monday 13th March at 7.00pm in theChapel’s Committee Room focusing on ‘Taking our values to work’.

Heart and Soul’ alternative week night service  – meets on Monday 20th March at 7.00pmin the Chapel.

Chapel Book Group – meets on Monday 27th March at 7pm in the Chapel Committee. We’ll discuss our current reading Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.
 

Pot Luck Lunches – The next ‘Pot Luck Lunch’ will be on Sunday 26th February in the side aisle at 12:30pm (after the morning service).  This is an informal, friendly occasions – all are welcome and the request is to bring some food to share or make a financial contribution (£3 minimum).  We look forward to seeing you there.

Interfaith Passover – Thursday 6th April 6.45 for a 7pm start
The JW3 Centre volunteers have invited us to an Interfaith Passover: ‘Join us as we explore the impact of the 3,500 year old Exodus story and the rituals that Jewish people observe. To mark International Women’s Day (8th March), we highlight the bold Unitarian proto-feminist Mary Wollstonecraft and consider how we can ‘be bold for change’, working towards an inclusive gender equal world. The Chapel choir will perform for us this Sunday.
