Evening Gathering – Meditation
The essence of meditation is simply to reach a ‘state of being’. Come and join us for meditation – guided meditation, silent meditation and walking meditation. Led by Ingrid Tavkar

Food Bank

Rosslyn Hill Chapel continues to support a Food Bank in Chalk Farm. Thanks to everyone who has donated so far to our Chapel Food Bank. Please continue to help us to feed local people in crisis by donating any of the items from the list below and bring them along to Chapel next time you come.
This is what the Food Bank wants:
Chopped tomatoes
Soups in cans and packets
Baked beans

Biscuits
Feminine hygiene products
Home cleaning products and sponges
They have enough pasta and rice!

Volunteering for stewarding, teas and flowers

Upcoming Events

Living with Integrity’ discussion group meets on Monday 10thOctober at 7.00pm in the Chapel’s Committee Room (note new location, entrance to the rear of the Chapel). We will discuss the topic of ‘Nurturing our children’, based on the chapter in the new book ‘Living with Integrity’ from the (Unitarian) Lindsey Press on different aspects of life and how our Unitarian values influence our actions. Margaret Perry will share her reflections on the theme.

Read along with the Book Group: ‘The Invention of Air’
Join us to discuss ‘The Invention of Air: A Story Of Science, Faith, Revolution, And The Birth Of America’ by Steven Johnson – the story of the great Unitarian, Joseph Priestley, a founding father who discovered oxygen and a brilliant man who embodied the relationship between science, religion, and politics. Come along at the end of October to discuss it with us. Next meeting: 24th October in the Chapel’s Committee Room (note new location, entrance to the rear of the Chapel)

Date for your diaries – Saturday 12th November ‘Induction Service’
We will be holding the induction service to welcome Rev Kate Dean as our minister on Sunday 12th November a 2.00pm. Invitations went out to members this week so please RSVP before 31st October to Sharron Conduit: admin@rosslynhillchapel.com

The Dance of Life’
To celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Rona Hart Dance School which has seen generations of young dancers pass through our Chapel Hall, we will be joined by some of the current students as we consider the power of dance to build community and the spiritual importance of the arts.

We are dancing for enjoyment to beautiful music from many cultures and to support a chosen charity. Led by Zoe Gerrard
